The Siesta Chair Collection originated more than 40 years ago and was the brainchild of Ingmar Relling. Mr. Relling enjoyed a long career as one of the leading designers in Scandinavia. In fact, the Siesta chair embodies the combination of ergonomic studies, meticulous construction techniques, respect for the environment and harmonious forms free from unnecessary details exemplified by the best of Scandinavian Modern Design.
We know that this is a mouthful, but an icon of design like this deserves plenty of attention!

Chair and ottoman frames are carefully constructed out of bent, laminated beech.

Canvas seat and back provide the support system for the leather or fabric cushions.

Frames are available in a choice of untreated beech, lacquered beech, black stain, teak, cherry, alder, rosewood and mahogany stains. Please note that specific canvas colors and hardware are married to different finishes.

Siesta Classic is available in high back version with and without arms, low back version with and without arms and in a complementary footstool.

All Siesta chairs and ottomans are available in fabric and 3 grades of leather.
